What the technical information here is — and is not

The capability figures, tolerances, materials and lead times published on this site describe what we can normally do. They are given so that you can judge quickly whether a part is worth sending us.

They are indicative, not a contractual commitment. What we commit to for your part is set out in the quotation for that part, including the tolerances, the inspection scope, the documents and the delivery time. Where the quotation and this website differ, the quotation governs.

Standards are cited by their number and class — for example ISO 5817 Level C or ISO 2768-m. Those citations describe the level we normally work to. The level that applies to your part is the one written into the quotation.

We keep this information current and correct it when it is wrong. If you find something here that does not match what we told you in writing, tell us — it is a mistake on our side and we want to fix it.

This is not engineering advice

Nothing on this site is advice about your design, your material selection or your regulatory obligations. The pages on CBAM, EN 1090 and EN 10204 are written to help you ask better questions, not to replace your engineer, your customs broker or your notified body.

Whether a particular part is a construction product, what execution class it needs, and what you must declare on import are decisions for you and your advisers. We will tell you what we think and why, and we will tell you when we think a case is borderline.

Enquiries, quotations and orders

Sending us an enquiry does not create a contract, and neither does our acknowledgement of it.

A quotation is an offer, valid for the period stated on it. An order becomes binding when we confirm it in writing. The terms of supply are those set out in the quotation and the order confirmation.

Intellectual property

The text, drawings, diagrams and photographs on this site belong to us. You may read them, print them and quote short passages with attribution. You may not republish them as your own, and you may not strip our attribution.

Your drawings remain yours. Sending them to us gives us the right to use them only for the purpose of quoting and, if you order, making the part. It gives us no other right of any kind.

Using this site

• Do not attempt to reach files or areas that are not published to you.
• Do not send us anything containing malware.
• Do not use the enquiry route for unsolicited marketing.
• Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people. If you want the data, ask — we will probably just send it. The full text is already published for machines at /llms-full.txt.

Where we link to a standards body, a regulation or a third-party site, we do so because it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Liability

We take reasonable care that this site is accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it is uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the indicative information published here, as opposed to the specific terms of a quotation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the People’s Republic of China, and disputes about them belong to the competent courts there.

This clause covers the website only. The law and forum for the supply of parts are those stated in the quotation and order confirmation, which may be different.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
